Mystic Journey Crystals was founded with a single purpose in mind: To place large and medium sized crystals and geodes, of only the highest quality, in people’s homes and in public spaces.
It is time that these extraordinary minerals, with their magnificent color, formation & history, are accessible to the public. The energy transmitted by large crystals and geodes is unlike what most people have experienced. I seek to bring this strong, vibrant energy to homes, healing spaces, hotels and offices, restaurants, and even hospitals,
I have explored the world of crystals for many years, from my fascination as a young boy to my regular trips to the Gem & Mineral shows. Over time, I developed close relationships with the crystal mine owners and their families. I now regularly travel right to the source, to the mines, to the cutting and polishing warehouses, and to the mine showrooms. I see thousands of crystals each year. I hand select, one by one, only the finest quality, purest, most vibrant crystals to be sold at and through Mystic Journey Crystals. I “know” each and every one of our crystals: where it comes from, who mines it, how it is prepared for sale, how it is transported. Nothing is guesswork, nothing is unknown to me, and thus to you.
Mystic Journey Crystals was unexpectedly, really divinely manifested. I had no intention of opening a crystal gallery. But the Universe presented me a space to do it in, and I took the leap. It just so happened, although I don’t believe in random coincidence, that I was planning to visit South America to select crystals for Mystic Journey Bookstore, right when the opportunity to open the gallery appeared. I then realized that the Universe had also surrounded me with the people that I would need to open the new business. So I did it.
I feel that everything at Mystic Journey Crystals is in perfect alignment with what is supposed to be happening: for me, for those around me; for our community; and for the world. I hope you come and experience the magic we’ve created at Mystic Journey Crystals. I hope you come and touch, see and feel the amazing pieces of “natural art” I have curated. I hope you decide to take one of these masterpieces home to live with, or for everyone to experience in your public space. The effects will never cease to impact you.
Part 4 of My Crystal Connection to Madagascar
This Missive will wrap up my trip to Madagascar. I hope my writings have given you at least a little taste, a little flavor of what this amazing, diverse, and complex country is like.
Part 3 of My Crystal Connection to Madagascar
For this month’s Missive I want to take you with me on my trip to the blue celestite mines of Majunga, my first destination outside the capital city of Tana.
Part 2 of My Crystal Connection to Madagascar
In this, the second part my Missive on my trip to Madagascar, I want to take you from my arrival in Madagascar’s capital city of Antananarivo, through my experience of the city and some of the utter craziness of there...
Part 1 of My Crystal Connection to Madagascar
My recent trip to Madagascar, which was a decade in the making, has its roots in Tucson, Arizona. Within 18 months of opening Mystic Journey Bookstore, I started making my annual excursion to Tucson which hosts the largest crystal show in the world...
After sharing my crystal journey with you in last month’s Missive, I want to get back to sharing my spiritual journey with you (although the two are undoubtedly intertwined!)
I began by flying from Los Angeles to São Paulo, meeting up with my good friend, Ricardo, from Bom Despacho, and then flying to Porto Alegre which is on the coast near the southernmost point of Brazil. From Porto Alegre we drove two hours to the city of Soledade, which is where all of the largest crystal dealers in Brazil have their workshops and showrooms.
This month I wanted to tell you more about my spiritual path, and how I ended up becoming the owner of Mystic Journey. Before I begin, however, I have one general thought I’d like to share. It is often easy to look back and say, “Wow, that was a significant moment in my life.”
After founding Mystic Journey Bookstore some 10 years ago, and Mystic Journey Crystal Gallery nearly 2 years ago, I thought it was time to have you get to know me and both of my stores on a more personal level.
