For me, the end of each year is a time to reflect on what has transpired over the past 365 days, and a time to not only look ahead, but also intend ahead for what I want to create in the coming year. With this next year also being the dawn of a new decade, this time to reflect, and to look forward, has even more meaning, and more impact for me.

After sharing my crystal journey with you in last month’s Missive, I want to get back to sharing my spiritual journey with you (although the two are undoubtedly intertwined!)
I began by flying from Los Angeles to São Paulo, meeting up with my good friend, Ricardo, from Bom Despacho, and then flying to Porto Alegre which is on the coast near the southernmost point of Brazil. From Porto Alegre we drove two hours to the city of Soledade, which is where all of the largest crystal dealers in Brazil have their workshops and showrooms.
Part 1
This month I wanted to tell you more about my spiritual path, and how I ended up becoming the owner of Mystic Journey. Before I begin, however, I have one general thought I’d like to share. It is often easy to look back and say, “Wow, that was a significant moment in my life.”
After founding Mystic Journey Bookstore some 10 years ago, and Mystic Journey Crystal Gallery nearly 2 years ago, I thought it was time to have you get to know me and both of my stores on a more personal level.
