Jeff's MONTHLY MISSIVE

December 2019

Deep Gratitude, The Dawn of a New Decade

I want to begin this Missive by wishing everyone a joyous holiday season and an abundant, fulfilling and healthy year ahead.

Right behind these wishes, I want to express my deep gratitude to all of you, our wonderful, fabulous, loving, supporting and growing community for all you have done for, and contributed to Mystic Journey over the past year.  Without you, Mystic Journey would not exist and I would certainly not be blessed with the amazing life that I lead.

For me, the end of each year is a time to reflect on what has transpired over the past 365 days, and a time to not only look ahead, but also intend ahead for what I want to create in the coming year.  With this next year also being the dawn of a new decade, this time to reflect, and to look forward, has even more meaning, and more impact for me.

What a decade it has been!  And again, I am so grateful to all of you for making all that I have possible.  We began the decade with our original store at 1319 Abbot Kinney Blvd.

After five years, Mystic Journey expanded and moved up the street to 1624 Abbot Kinney Blvd.

After another four years, we opened our Crystal Gallery and
Event Space & Yoga Studio on Lincoln Blvd.

Similarly, over the decade I’ve gone from taking my first trip to the Tucson gem show, having no idea what to expect, to developing relationships with crystal dealers from all over the world.  I’ve gone from never having met a crystal dealer from another country to being fortunate enough to now call many of these dealers my friends and blessed enough to have them take me into their homes, make me feel like part of their families, and take me around their countries and to the mines and workshops from which I am able to select the amazing crystals I bring to you.

Finally, I have watched our community and our events grow from hosting small book signings in the back of the store at 1319, to now hosting a wide variety of events, often with dozens of people, at both of our locations, most days of the week.   We now have nearly 15,000 people on our email list, over 20,000 Instagram followers and 33,000+ Facebook followers and friends.

All of it, every day, every moment, continues to thrill and amaze me.

I owe so much to all of you, and to all those who have worked with me, at both my stores, over the past ten years.  I want to express special thanks to the three ladies and one man who have been by my side for so many years as we have pursued this Mystic Journey together, Ria for 10 years, Jenny for 5 years, and Dmitiry and Darcie for 2+ years.

It has all happened, all unfolded, so quickly.  I always say to people, and one of my life philosophies, is: “Life isn’t short, it just goes by fast.”  And my mystic journey, with Mystic Journey, has sure been travelling by fast.

“Life isn’t short, it just goes by fast.”

Now, as I, and we, and Mystic Journey head into a new year, and a new decade, I can say that big things, and big changes are on the horizon.  More will follow on this.  But for now, I will say that I am looking forward, with confidence, to what lies ahead.

I again give my thanks to all of you for all that you have done for me and Mystic Journey.  As an expression of this thanks, I am going to put every product that we have at both stores on sale from the day after Christmas, Dec. 26, through Sunday January 5.  While this sale won’t include readings, classes or events, every single product we offer from books, tarot decks, incense, crystals, to everything, will be 15% off for these 11 days.

In closing, I look forward to another decade where Mystic Journey and the Mystic Journey Community continue to expand and evolve, and become an ever-growing influence on our community, the communities we serve and humanity as a whole.

Namaste,
