David Sauvage

7pm – 9pm

We invite you to a uniquely transformative experience.

An empath is someone who feels the emotions of others. David Sauvage, a highly sensitive empath, is visiting Los Angeles from New York City. On January 9, he will surrender his nervous system to volunteers from the audience, show their emotions back to them through his body, and guide people back to themselves. It's intuitive readings and emotional healings as performance art.

Between readings, David will answer questions about his work. Are you sensitive to others' feelings too? David will explain how he keeps himself fresh. Are you a skeptic? David will share the latest science on his work. Are you just curious? Ask away.

No matter what, you won't forget it.

An empath is someone who feels the emotions of others.

What I do is, I empty myself of my own feelings, take people’s feelings into my body and share what I learn about them.

I experience people in layers. First, what they’re feeling right now, at this exact moment. Then what they’re feeling underneath the surface. Then a layer below that. All the way down to their core—their essential makeup as a human being.

In the process, something strange happens. My body literally expresses these emotions. It happens through my muscles. They transform my body into shapes that form a visual language. I interpret this language as best I can.

What I’m feeling, I have no choice about. What I say, however, is a conscious process, subject to my own subjectivity. I often get things wrong. If I say something that doesn’t resonate, I ask you to let it go.

Thank you for experimenting with me. This is a gift; I love giving it.
